Some bakeries are neat, restrained and sensible. Crumbs & Colton is not really interested in any of that.
This is a bakery built around big bakes, big flavours and, in their own words, “big chaos”.
Owned and run by Brodie Colton, Crumbs & Colton is an independent bakery specialising in seriously indulgent treats. Think chunky stuffed cookies, thick brownies, blondies, cookie pies, rocky road and plenty more besides.
And there is one rule that seems to run through the whole business. There is no such thing as too much chocolate.
The business only started in 2025, but things have moved quickly since then. What began as a small baking business has grown into a bakery travelling across the UK, taking its bakes to conventions, festivals, markets and events.
That has included appearances at MCM Comic Con, AnimeCon UK, UKTTA Manchester, Dino Tattoo Show and Renaissance Faire UK.
It is still a small team, though. And that is part of the charm.
There is plenty of personality behind the bakes, plenty of creativity going into the flavours and, by the sound of things, a habit of taking on slightly more than would probably be sensible.
But when the end result is a table full of cookies and brownies, there are worse problems to have.
Here are three reasons why Crumbs & Colton deserves a place on the radar of anyone with a serious sweet tooth.
1. The bakes are properly loaded
There is a time and a place for a small biscuit alongside a cup of tea.

This probably is not that place.
Crumbs & Colton specialises in bakes that feel like a proper treat. The sort of thing that arrives and makes sharing suddenly seem like a much less attractive idea.
The online shop gives a pretty good idea of what Brodie and the team are about.
There is a Crunchie Brownie, packed with that familiar honeycomb and chocolate combination, alongside a Kinder Brownie for anyone who believes a brownie can always handle a little more chocolate.
The blondie selection is just as tempting.
The Cherry Bakewell Blondie brings together two very British favourites, while the Lemon Meringue Blondie offers something a little different if chocolate is not the only thing on the agenda.
Then come the cookies.
The Kinderella Cookie is joined by flavours such as Oreo Stuffed Cookie, Red Velvet Milky Magic Cookie, Smarties Cookie and Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cookie.
There are Mini Egg Brownies, Mint Aero Brownies, Oreo Blondies and Terry’s Chocolate Orange Brownies too.

In other words, restraint is not really the theme.
The bakes are designed to feel generous. They are chunky, packed with recognisable flavours and made for those moments when a plain digestive simply is not going to cut it.
2. There is a real small business behind every order
One of the nicest things about buying from an independent bakery is knowing there are actual people behind what arrives at the door.
Crumbs & Colton is owned and run by Brodie Colton, with a small team helping to keep the ever growing baking operation moving.
And it really has grown quickly.
The bakery was only founded in 2025, yet its bakes are already travelling around the country.
The team has served customers at MCM Comic Con, AnimeCon UK, UKTTA Manchester, Dino Tattoo Show and Renaissance Faire UK, as well as other markets, festivals and events.
That tells its own story.

There is something nice about seeing a young independent business move from baking on a smaller scale to packing up its stock and heading across the UK to meet customers face to face.
The personality of the business has not disappeared along the way either.
Crumbs & Colton openly describes itself as a small team that is slightly obsessed with baking and probably taking on more than it should.
That feels a lot more relatable than a polished brand pretending everything runs like clockwork.
There is clearly hard work behind it, but there is also a sense that Brodie and the team genuinely enjoy making the products.
For customers who like knowing where their food comes from, that matters.

The bakery is council registered, fully insured and allergen certified too, giving customers some important reassurance alongside all the chocolate.
3. There is always something tempting to try next
The danger with finding a good independent bakery is that one order can very easily turn into another.
And the range at Crumbs & Colton does not exactly help with self control.
Someone might start with a Crunchie Brownie and then spot the Kinder Brownie.
Then there is a Lemon Meringue Blondie.
Then an Oreo Stuffed Cookie.

And suddenly the original plan to “just try one” has become slightly more complicated.
That variety is one of the strongest parts of the business.
The range covers brownies, blondies, stuffed cookies, rocky road and cookie pies, with flavours built around plenty of familiar favourites.
There are chocolate heavy options, fruitier bakes and combinations inspired by some of the sweets and chocolate bars people already know and love.
It makes the range suitable for trying something new each time rather than simply ordering the same bake again and again.
And because Crumbs & Colton is still a relatively young independent business, it feels like there is plenty more still to come.
The bakery has already gone from launching in 2025 to appearing at major events around the UK.
That is a lot of ground covered in a short space of time.

For now, though, the focus remains refreshingly simple.
Make big bakes. Fill them with good stuff. Do not be shy with the chocolate.
Anyone looking for a little treat, a box to share at home or simply an excuse to see how much can reasonably be packed into one cookie should have a browse through the Crumbs & Colton range.
Just do not expect choosing one flavour to be particularly easy.
