Speaking about the business, Jade explained, “There are so many fantastic princess entertainment companies out there, but from day one my goal has always been authenticity. I want every character to look and feel as magical and believable as possible, while elevating the costumes and overall experience.”

As Jade puts it, “The vision in my head has always been a little bit ‘if Disney princesses did Vogue magazine!’ Beautiful, high quality costumes, attention to detail, and a touch of luxury, while still keeping all the warmth, fun and magic that children love.”

Jade shared, “I also personally handle every enquiry and booking, which allows me to build genuine relationships with our families. I love keeping our social media relatable and humorous too, so people get to know the person behind the characters as well as the characters themselves.”

The owner explained, “A Message From originally began with personalised video messages from princesses, particularly Elsa, who has always been our most requested character. That’s actually where the name came from! Over time, more and more families started requesting in person visits and parties, and before I knew it, the party side of the business had grown beyond the video messages.”

There’s also a long term vision that reflects just how much love has gone into building the business. “This business has been a labour of love for over 12 years, and while I can’t imagine hanging up my tiara anytime soon, there will eventually come a day when I step back from performing. When that time comes, I’d love for A Message From to continue creating magical memories for families long after I’ve hung up my party shoes.”
